I Received my Tracker IV Today!

I'm so excited. I received my Tracker IV today and I took it out to the back yard. I found a few nails and other junk. But I LOVE this machine.

I just sold my MXT. It was too big and too heavy for me. It st a GREAT metal detector, but it was more than I could handle. I kept my accessories. I couldn't walk away from the hunt!

The Tracker IV is perfect for me! It's light weight, and I could adjust it to fit my height perfectly! It doesn't have the bells and whistles that the MXT had, but I don't care about that. I intend to dig everything anyway.

I look forward to hunting with it at the beach this Spring and Summer!

Happy hunting everyone!! :detecting:

I agree, the Whites machines are often too heavy and they tend to "guild the lily" by putting too much on their machines. Its much like a hoity toity clothes washer, dish washer or microwave oven, 99% of the time you use the same basic cycle and don't really need all the extra stuff. The BH line seems to have understood this from the start.

Good luck and keep us posted regarding the non-junk finds.

Well, thanks for your support. I will definitely keep you posted.

I like the idea of being surprised when I'm digging for my treasure. I like the ability to be able to swing the detector without tiring so soon. The Tracker IV is versatile enough to go into the water, sand, and other land conditions without the need to make adjustments. Now that's my cup of tea. The MXT is an excellent detector for a professional. I just didn't need that much detector. Now I will hunt like a metal detecting addict! LOL!

May the coil be with you!

Happy Hunting! :twodetecting:

Best of luck with your Tracker IV ! Seems to be a very popular model,
simple yet effective. Doesn't hurt your arm or your wallet. Sounds like
you made a fine choice MD Lady. Tons of past posts about it right here.
Good hunting to you !
