I really need to dust off my MXT

I feel a bit guilty. It has been several months since I last pulled out my MXT. I usually rely on my father's when we go treasure hunting. I should really bring it out of the closet and dust it off. It was a graduation gift so I should really use it more. It's a great detector and I couldn't be more happy with it.

It was very easy to use and came with loads of material to get me started.

Don't feel bad, I left my MXT gather dust for over a year. I think the last time I used it was back in June of 2005. I finally made the decision to clean it up and start using it and can't wait for Spring to get here. Now all I have to do is research and find some good areas to hunt on.

Get that MXT dusted off and start finding those treasures. Keep us posted on the finds too. :detecting:

I did find this in my own front yard.

It's a bus token from the Monroe Louisiana Public Transportation System, the old public transportation system in the country. A local historian told me that this token hasn't been used since the early 1930's. Not a bad little find I think.

If you want to know more about my finds you should check out my website. I'll be updating it quite frequently. I've found meteorites, too. ;)

I think all token finds are cool! They're old and have history. Great find! Nothing like finding treasures in your own yard. Bet there's more to find also. Good luck.
