I really feel...

Every new top of the line unit should come with a video made by the official testers explaining in detail what every facet does as an addendum to the manual which is brief at best. Seems like these units are excellent units but although they look easy to set up for those with years of experience the video data would help the newbie and oldbie quickly adjust to their new unit and get the most out of it from the get-go...Am sure better informed detectorists would post more positively which would equate to more sales and profits to the manufacturer..

That's a VERY good idea Dan.----Any manufacturers out there listening to us???? (the money spenders & users)

... I'm going to look into this and see if we got any ideas in our pockets. I've noticed, as well, that many folks like the video over the manual majority of the time, 'cause it kind of coincides with the "hands on" approach a lot better. Chin up! I think it's a great idea!

I'm held to less than 11 min. with YouTube, but that's just enough time to go through the controls & features of pretty much what's in the manual....
It's done....Just going through the uploading process as we speak...

I was talking about a video explaining what every facets does or does not preferably by the official companies testers..I am sure yours will help but reading the manual usually explains the controls and how to change..Metal detectors used to be simple but new names and facets are slowly creeping into todays detectors...and even experienced guys and gals take a while to adjust and would certainly hate to be a newbie in this day and age...Again thanks for your efforts as it appears changing of the guard since the two companies merged..

Video "Field Tests" have been available on certain models for several years. Some of those previously viewed only on DVD can now be found on YouTube. HH Randy
