I realize that this may be a little over the "edge" for some, but

if you are a committed "Wader" or a "Wader" who should be committed, you'll understand.

When you grid an area to hunt on land it is a fairly simple thing to do, but in the water you can lose your bearings easily. Sooooo, when I am serious and want to sterilize a beach, I use the following technique. I create search corridors through the water using fiberglass snow reflector polls. This is done offseason of course.

Just another friendly wading tip from BarnacleBill, that will give you an "edge"!
 
I have done similar grids in plowed fields.....but I do the poor mans route & just use sticks I find ;)

Take it from someone who DOES the committing - better do that beyond the view of the burly guys in the white coats (lol).
