My first half dollar and barber quarter I ever found, found with my first machine, the XLT :clap:

Then to wait till you get home and just run water over them to clear away the dirt and see your prize, found at barber park :thumbup:

Found these just a block from my home, I just knew some thing good was there after I looked into the history of the site :clapping:

Here is a photo of the site where I found the coins, these people are standing where I found one of the coins, found the other two just 20 feet away :thumbup:

Found my oldest coin with a date hunting with Brian in the mellon field, thanks Bri :super:

Found this nasty looking Indian head at barber park, tried every thing I could to clean it and get a date off of it but nothing seem to work at first :(

Then I tried some stuff I had in the bathroom to remove rust and hard water, I can't remember what it was called but I do have a picture of the bottle some where on my computer, I just gotta find it, it clean up the coin nice but it dis colored it but what the heck, it not only gave me a date but the coin turn out to be a sweet one, I would never try this again because ya never know, may be a rare coin :nono:

This is my first seated coin ever found, found it with Cap'tin tut on the ghost, it turns out to be my best looking seated, thanks Cap :thumbup:

I have found two gold rings, I found this one on a farm for the owner who lost it while carrying a baby calf in the snow to the barn​

I have also found two civil war tokens, found this one at a high school in Wisconsin​

I have found a few barbers over the years but never a seated ANYTHING. I saw a friend of mine recover an 1853 seated dime at a place in the woods once called "the old campground." It was on "old campground road" in Jefferson County Arkansas.

The rewards of metal detecting are great. Hey! Why don't you share some of your relic finds with us. I bet you have ton of it.

All my finds before 1990 disappeared when queen no. 1 gave away my treasure chest in the midst of our divorce. Breastplates, buckles, hundreds of bullets, spurs, eppullets (ms), a ton of coinage--all gone but the silver. Arrrrg. I kept me silver stored in a separate place!

Thanks for sharing buddy. Makes me want to go dry land hunting again.
