OK, I'll warn you up front that the audio quality sucks, and probably the video will put you to sleep! Anyway, my first youtube video and I hope y'all find it helpful.

I'm headed out Sunday to a much coveted metal detecting locale here in north Texas and I'll get more video. Both me and my buddy will be using AT Pros as well as an ACE 350. We expect to find some old coins but the location holds the potential of finding some VERY old relics dating back to the time the Spanish were in Texas! It's in the town of Spanish Fort and we have permission prearranged-something hard to get in those parts!

Good job on the video.
Thanks

Very nice results. I tested my targets in coin mode, 7/8 bars and a faster swing of the targets in front of the coil.I noticed that the faster you swing the coil, the better the depth. That is good to know, as at times when you get a whisper on a target, you just whip the coil back & forth and you get better ID. Both our results also showed that gold targets seem to get a bit more depth then silver. Got to like that.

Awesome. Thanks for taking time to do that. You can now start filming your hunts too.......:) Can you show us how stable the target ID is when you wave an object farther from the coil? Thanks again for taking time do do this.

You're welcome! I plan to do some more tests with other targets like nails, bottlecaps, pulltabs, etc. I'll try to get vids of that too but I'll probably have a video of a hunt before I can get time to do another air test video.

John, you're absolutely right about the speed! However, the reason I went slow was because I wasn't sure I could swing my detector as fast as some of the results I had before I made the video.. I got better depth with most targets, including 12" easy from some of them-I just wasn't sure the speed represented what a person would actually swing in the field. In the video I tried to go slow and fast with most to see how it worked out. I'll get my narration down and actually have a script to follow with the next one so I don't forget stuff!

Thanks guys!

Nice job. At 19khz that is not bad on silver one of the highest conductors known to man.

Yep, tomorrow I'll make a point of taking a ruler with me to demonstrate how deep a target is. You guys will have to bear with me as I drop the camera a few times while digging! LOL.. That little Flip is slippery without adding dirty or wet hands-of which I'll have both according to tomorrow's weather!
