I planned to pop a little clad today...

but when I got to the site I had decided to try for a bit of clad, I ended up digging relics. At first, I thought something was wrong with the ATP. With the Iron Disc set at 35, it sounded like a bag of Orville Redenbacher in the microwave thru my Grey Ghosts. So I swithced on Iron Audio and there it was, iron everywhere!! Then I started noticing shards of pottery and pieces of thick colored glass and I realized I had stumbled on an old house, barn or dump site. Cool!! So off I went and dug all of the big iron stuff and anything else that the ATP could ferret out from amonst all of those iron bits. I was having a blast, swinging and trying to figure out what I really have here. The humidity and heat got me after just an hour or so and I didn't want to re-aggrevate my Scoop Foot(back 100%, thank you very much!!) so I called it a day...for now!! I'll for sure be going back and see what else might be lying around. I didn't find any old coins, but a few shell casings, and a good may whatzits are enough to make me believe there might be one or two hiding in there somewhere.

Here's the assortment!! And yes, I got 14 cents in clad!!

I thought this knob thing is really cool. Not sure what it was attached to at one time, but it's heavy. I has a hole on each side for a pin to go thru to attach it to something. Any ideas???

I'm going with bath tub foot! Glad your hoof is doing better and you're finding new sites to detect.

Now that you say that, that could very well be what it is!! It's got a bit of a flat spot and the top of the knob (now bottom) and it makes it sit straight up!! Now I guess I'll have to go find the other 3....dangit!!
