The item number is 33-1253, I think they just came out with them....The transmitter is a small box that you just plug into the headphone jack(no velcrowing anything) but you need a adapter to go from the smaller prong on the transmitter to the larger prong that the Etrac takes..the headphones and transmitter are rechargeable but the recharger didnt come with it...their is no lag at all and sound quality is excellent...I'm very happy : )

I had to look these up on the Radio Shack site and the feedback is not very good in most cases as they dont last very long from what some are saying and cheaply made. There was one guy I seen that uses them for a metal detector and he likes them a lot, I have seen him post on these forums his handle is Treasure hunter I believe it is.
I went to the Radio Shack site and did a search of 33-1253 and start reading the feedback on them. Just a heads up before too many go out and buy them until a little more on them.

I read the feedback too before I bought them but they seem to work great with my Etrac, every other wireless headphones I tried either went a foot past the target before it beeped or picked up a radio station...

I have been using the Radio Shack # 33-1253 headphones for about 2 years now, first on my Quattro, and now on my new E-TRAC. They have excellent response time, with no lag time. They last about 5 to 6 hours on a recharge, and the behind the neck headphones are very comfortable and wont fall down because they have clips that go behind your ear so that when you bend head down they stay in place. The only problem that I had is when the transmitter plug that flips out of the end and plugs into the detector broke. I repaired it and made a short 1/8" to a 1/4" cord with a 90 degree end that sits flat against the headphone jack inlet on the E-TRAC. I keep the transmitter on the armrest with velcro and the short cord is out of the way.

Got me a pair this past weekend for $45, got a $15 off coupon from Radio Shack and used them to buy the wireless headphones. I bought my first pair about 2 1/2 years ago, they last 2 years and the battery went south. After I bought this new set I took the old ones apart and they seem easy to fix, I just have to find the batteries, they are 350mAh 2.4v F5 and F6, one set for the phones and one set for the transmitter, gotta find some, hopefully in Houston. Go to the Radio Shack homepage, sign up for their specials and they will send you special discount coupons once in a while. These headphones work really good on my machines. HH John
