I ordered the 17 inch and 6 inch coil to go along with my CTX3030, the 17 inch early on, and the 6 inch two days ago......they are not even manufactur

At least that is what I was told by an employee at K-Co......my tracking invoice shows only the detector being shipped, and the 17 inch apparently is not with it. Anyone else order these, and if so, what are you hearing? Are they being shipped, or already sold out, or, as reported, have they not been manufactured yet?

Not a complaint, at all. I am looking forward to my machine, but man, I REALLY have a great place totry the 17 inch bad boy out on.......

Well I usually love Kelly Co but I have to say, this go round, will have me looking at other dealers unless they make this right! I was told I on 5-10-2012 that I was the first 1 to put down my deposit. They day the price was released I started trying reach my salesman; well I was told they had some "trouble locating my preorder" they finally found it and and was told my salesmen would call me back tommorrow. He did and said " well I am not sure how to process a full payment for the CTX" after a bit they returned " well you are the first one for paying in full so we got you being one the first 1 or 2 shipped when we ship them". Well today, I was told (of course my salesmen is MIA on vaccation) that my order is pending. So I went thru the whole thing and they said "I will call ya back and see what we can do" I was also intially assured, by my salesmen, it would be here the 29th the latest the 30th. So now, I am having to foot the bill for overnight?? ridiculous oh and by the way no return call as of yet to confirm they will ship it overnight! Highly disappointed I have purchsed 3 detectors from them. I also ordered the waterproof headphones and the status of those is unknown I would say same boat as the coils!!!
 
want to get them moving ? ask for your money back that will get them on the case :biggrin:

I decided long ago not to use this company, for very very similar issues. I love having a dealer that I can call up and shoot the sh.. with :)
 
Yeah I am going to find a new dealer anyone pm with a good minelab dealer I am getting my CTX at the full overnight cost to me. I paided my fines for using them and from now on my business will go else where. This is my last detector purchase at Kelly Co. I will say my salesmen Steve today was very nice but right is right and this was wrong on thier part.

The detectors have not been shipped to the dealers yet. They aren't even available the 28th. If your lucky they might get delivered on Tuesday 29th but the several dealers I am close with are holding thier breath! They had planned on being open at 12:01am 28 May 2012 to start the sales.

MTN, the best way to get resolution is to do what you did here. Posting your experience.
After all, only a few thousand people are going to read it.
I spent years in sales....and when something like this happened to one of my company's customers......you can be sure I compensated them for their time/trouble/additional expenses. I did not lose customers, because I made it right. Mistakes happen, but the 'acid test' is what does a company do to 'make it right'?

Sorry my comment sounded redundant considering the 28th release date. Let me try again. I have heard at the official release date, the waterproof headphones and coils will not be available.
 
There is a video of Digger using a six inch. Minelab may still be testing before releasing to the public. Maybe they need testers????? HH :detecting::minelab:
 
Quit chur worryin Hershey----things are gonna be OK! :thumbup:-----Minelab has a plenty adequate # of highly experienced testers thoroughly putting the (coils) "thru their paces".

I also had a recent experience with K-co , only because my dealer was out of stock on 2 items I was looking for that I wanted fast.First was a coil,second was a cover/bag for my GT. K-co rep said yes both items are in stock and I would receive in 3 days.Well 5 business days passed with no delivery.I called K-co only to be told that there was a system crash and my order would now be going out. I said "thats BS lady but go ahead". Five more days later I had to call again, only this time I got a honest response.The rep said that the other rep lied to me, there was no system crash and they have been out of stock and still are out of stock on that coil. I said thanks for being up front and now cancel my order please.
I will go with out before I would ever give K-co one cent. Anytime I meet somebody new while detecting, I tell them to be very cautious about K-co. I do highly recommend Bart @ Bigboyshobbies.net

I doubt you'll find a video of me using the 6-inch coil as I will not post videos of the "pre-released" detector or accessories. If you saw the 6-inch coil being used in a video, it was likely the one Mark has posted on the TreasureTalk blog. HH Randy
 
I also ordered the waterproof headphones, 6 inch and 17 inch coil to go along with my standard pack, I haven't received ANYTHING yet, not even the detector.

I planned on using the 17" coil in our local swimming area, to "comb it out" quicker .

What's some more good uses for the 17" coil? Relics? beach?
