almost 100 worth of wheat cents. i found this in my back yard right next to a 75 year old oak tree.:bouncy:
 
Unusual is all I'm saying.... Even the handle on top isn't rusted.. ?????????????????????
 
i know but the tree was old the box could have been buried recently i mean i been in my house for 6 mouths so i dont know...:confused:
 
i looked though them and the newest one was from 2003 so it is new but about half was wheats and i am going to ask the old owners of the house
 
I was gonna say that there seems to be no dirt in the key hole, and I know how hard it is to get it out of there...I would say you have a admirer of your hobby, and wanted to give you a present.

Well man it still coins and that money and i put in the bank and thanks DiggerODirt i am 14 and i ask my mom and she said she put in the ground for me and she a good person so i was false and i also got my Dexter like a week ago... so thanks mom.

That would be exciting for sure. Like McDave said, I would have more than likely not dug it because it probably would give overload signal. Still a fun find and kudos to mom for participating.
