Yep I am sure the rumors have been abounding. It is ready and should be out soon, but how soon, next month perhaps?:clapping:

What will it incorporate? I got money in hand and hope to have one of the first. It has been 5 years since the v3i was developed, I can only dream as to what this next detector will have for features.

I hope it has more frequencies! To me that would be the perfect machine! A lot of frequencies like that other brand but built with the White's quality! Wow! I would sell whatever I had to to buy one like that!

You are taken up in the advertising hype Todd, they claim that they transmit that many frequencies, so does White's and other brands, they are called harmonics. Try to get a straight answer on how many of those frequencies are the primary frequencies that actually are received and processed. It is believed to be three. The White's V3i also processes three primary frequencies, names them and tells you how they do it too.

I would much rather have 3 fundamental frequencies than harmonics. Harmonics have diminished power and fundamentals have tighter held RF envelopes. It all really means that the processors have much better data compared to harmonic manipulation. martin

Burlbark have you seen a new one? Inquiring minds want to know. I have heard of no flagship.

I haven't heard of a new detector but do know a new pinpoints is coming out as stated by Carl on the Whites forums. on the other hand....

I have not seen it, but it has been spotted at Sweethome and msrp is still not completed. Since no one outside the factory has been doing testing, ie, Rob or Larry, I am hesitant to say anymore. I personally have not held or seen it but know that many suppliers have been contributing as far as hardware development.

Rumors help pass the winter. I'd be surprized to see a flagship VLF. As has been posted by Carl they are working on the plastic case for the PP and you can be sure it will be the best one out there.
I want to see that one. I'm tired of sliding that piece of metal.

Comment #1: Sorry, if "something" has been spotted in Sweet Home, it is not a "flagship" model.

Comment #2: The V3 runs 3 frequencies, that other "lot of frequencies" brand runs 2 frequencies.

 Thanks Carl.

Here I can see great things. Eric Foster?????????????? who knows.

I just didn't see a V3i replacement yet. Not much to change to be perfect.
