I have swittched to the LTC63xv3 blisstool, i feel it will better work for me in the farm feilds and forest. it is much like the musky but much deeper , I can say one thing i liked about the GT is its all metal modes they are the smoothest and most stable i have ever used and somday if i get ahead finacially i would get another GT i just cant aford a blisstool and a GT Gunnar

Gunnar...NO!....You will be missed! Thank you for your contributions and good luck with your new machine! Peace, Matt

Gunnar, wish you well with the new detector.I have used other detectors and was always happy to get back using the Sovereign.Your contribution to this forum is appreciated the best of luck.HH Ron

staying on the cutting edge eh...good luck...is there a bliss tool forum yet...im interested in your impressions of this new machine as your experience grows with it...

Gunnar,

Stay in touch, and let us know how you are doing with the blissstool - not to derail this forum, but I have always liked reading your posts; you've given me plenty to think about on more than one subject.

Best of luck to you, and happy hunting.

It is nice to try other detectors too, this way you can read others post, but unless you own one you don't know if it will work for you. I have tried many different ones too and some I really liked, but not enough to sell one of my Sovereigns and do feel if you knew the Sovereign well you will be back on this forum and have another Sovereign as most do.

Good luck and keep us informed on your new detector.

Rick

Good luck with the Blisstool good machine might take a little getting used to no tones but there is ways around it , here is a good video of a few member,s of the ADT which i belong to with his blisstool in a local farm field , let us know how you like the machine HH Jim

I don't understand why you got rid of the GT the Blisstool is kinda a specialty type detector while the the GT is one of the best overall detectors on the market. Combined together you would have such an advantage over your competition!
We are all waiting for our blisstool they are hung up in customs! Being so cheap everyone should con cider adding one to the arsenal.
I can't tell you how many times I hunted the beach with the Excalibur only to go back a few hrs later with the GT and pull as much as I did the first time. Now I am hoping to pull more on the third trip with the Blisstool!
Good luck Hunting

Gunnar,

Best of luck and I look forward to your report on the new "happytool" - Jim

Going to miss your posts and videos! I can see why that machine might prove a good tool just hunting farm fields, but with no ability to raise discrimination above foil, no tone alerts, no vdi, and no way to tell how deep the target is with modulated audio it isn't any good for parks and other public places. Probably a good beach machine too, but it won't work in salt water. Good luck and post freely in this forum about your experiences with it.

Thanks guys, I will make some vidioes of what this thing can do and so on . right now I am using the gold bug , and yes I will miss the GT only because i have not worked in 6 years and money is tite. I make under 100.00 a month so the GT had to go or i could not have got the bliss. one thing was today hunting a school with the Gold bug i hit a cinder and it went off like a bomb the GT never would do this kind of thing , I still stand amazed at the GT and its fixed all metal mode it is so silent going over stuff like a cinder and will se a good target right thru it that impressed me not to mention the tones . i found the meter unessesary as i could tell by the tones but someday if i get back on my feet i would like anothe GT keep swinging , and the high tone singing Gunnar

Gunnar,a lot of people find money tight including myself. If you haven't sold your Sovereign yet try to get most on a sale. The GT and Sovereign accessories will usually sell quick and at a good price. If you do go back to a Sovereign the early models perform well and will save you money.Maybe things will get better.Again Good Luck Ron

he will be back, always seems everyone come's back to the Sovereign sooner or later......... Gold bug ? ,,,,,,The gold machines hit real hard on the small jewelry, but one must dig 4387 pieces of small foil, to find 1 small jewelry item ?......

I gave up on them some time ago.

Yea, I never cared for my Tesoros because they hit so hard on small blobs of foil for one thing.

Gunnar, since there currently isn't a forum yet for the BlissTool I'm sure nobody will mind if you make this the unofficial forum for it for right now and post some of your experiences and finds with it. I doubt anybody would have a problem with that, but I guess it's up to the new moderator.

Rob i know what you are talking about , the GB hits on all foils the GT would egnor most and hit a good target right thru them , i have a good collection of foil all ready , one thing you can do is hunt in all metal and turn down the threshold then only the tabs come thru and you lose some depth , and critter i will let you know on the general metal detecting fourum but it may be a wile as the detectors are back ordered seems thear is lots of demand so it takes 14 days + and the price may even go up on them so i will be using the GB for awile mostly blessing s to you all
