down to see my daughter, Tami & Troy, at Benton, MO. The car drove well with no problem! I went down and back on about $21.00 (more or less) worth of gas. We saw two properties...the one Tami liked so well and then a house with 3-1/2 acres (I believe). They both liked the house but I'm just not able to help them right now with the price being $78,900.
Neither one of them have a job right now but Tami is putting in applications in Cape! Troy is in construction but either has a crushed vertebrae or a badly pinched nerve in his back and cannot work. He is getting a lawyer because they refuse to pay him workman's comp, even with the x-rays showing his condition of not being able to work right now!
Troy made up his mind he doesn't want the property with the trailer, the extra double pad and 2.62 acres, and prefers the house and 3.5 acres of land with barn, sheds and etc; therefore, I've decided not to do anything as of now! Would put too great of a hardship for me to have to make payments on my home and theirs too...even if I could get a loan for them to live there!
He and his brother want to put in a truck repair business on the place and who knows if it would work out! His brother is a truck driver and he and Troy worked on his truck all weekend trying to get it repaired so he could deliver a load of SUVS!
Well, the reason I'm telling you this is because God has blocked it almost in every direction. Although the inside of the trailer is very nice, the outside isn't too great! There is no garage and I would have to have one built if I were to live down there!! The land is sandy and has lots of burs so have to take shoes off before entering homes or there are very sharp burs on floors to step on! OUCH!!!
Too far from Cape to drive if I'm not feeling well to see dr, do banking, get groceries and etc. So, like I said, for now it is not bo be. I told Tami, if the house and land is for them, if will happen, if not than they aren's supposed to have it! I am not sad nor disappointed and know God's spirit is giving me peace with all of this!
I was going to detect his brother's yard where we were staying, but alas it was raining when I got up and stopped very little. I drove in hard rain about halfway to St. Louis and then it was nice...no rain here as yet, but supposed to be coming with possible some of that white stuff!
Tami called to make sure I got home okay and it was still raining down there and I guess she drove to her trailer in Arcadia, MO in it!
I prayed for us both to have God's safety and to heal us as we were suffering terribly from algeries and arthritis from the wet, cold weather!
God is good and I praise and give Him glory for all He does for me and my loved ones and for all of you!
God Bless!
