Looking at the price of gold it is skyrocketing up..I need to find about 3 ounces this year....
oh well..I'm still stuck in NYC hoping for a couple of gold rings....

ha!! me too!!!!!!!!! beaches, volloyball courts, parks, sports fields.............its out there ya just gotta go get it.

I'm with seeker !!!!!!

There is only one sure rule in getting gold-
Gold is where you find it!

So far I have had very limited success even though I know the rule.

I have found 2 gold rings and a gold plated penny (1996, not even a good penny!).

I am determined to keep looking until I am the envy of the IRS.

I have done plenty of swinging and digging, of course that is not finding. I am about at the break even point for battery expense. I love to get good enough to cover the cost of gas traveling to hunts. Someday I'd like to chip away at the investment of equipment or as my wife sees it- estate pre-reduction!

Unless out dredging its been more productive for me to prospect the parks and beaches.
Good Luck

yes go the parks and beach and every time i think no use its hunted out i remind myself i have the secret weapon  Gold Bug Pro

My only complaint is that if I was at home I could get 1.5 grains of gold... every day....

Where is home for you JIM? I think I could probably do that here pretty easily but have only prospected this area a very little. One 5 gallon bucket of dirt I pulled from the creek right through town gave up a gram when testing the highbanker I made. Bad thing is your not allowed to work that creek any more I just grabbed some dirt from behind a rock and brought it home.

a club claim in california...
Prior to having to come to NYC to take care of mom I was living in my 20 beater rv and staying on blm land that is club claimed.. I know other would state there is far better areas to find more..but I had a nice location..easy to get to and cost was minimal...so being disable and making 1.5 grains of gold a day was a nice bonus..
