I Need Some Really Good Headphones For A Few Really Noisy Areas That I Detect:help:

I have some Killer B's Wasp Headphones that I use and really like, but they don't knock out enough noise at some of sites that I detect.

Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Black widows

Thanks. I heard that before, but I just want to make sure that there aren't any others that work just as well or better.

Those Black Widows sure sound hot from what I have read. I think I can stand it for an hour or two early in the morning before the heat jumps up.

I missed out on a good used pair of them at great price, because I was scratching something and didn't jump fast enough.

I'm thinking that I'd only need them a few times a year at most. The Micky Mouse look with me wearing them should be good for a few laughs for the bystanders.

The clear choice is, Black Widows. I thought that would be the case, but I wanted be 100% certain.

Thanks everyone.

If your MD has a volume control and you want to isolate yourself from outside noise, I don't think any over the ear Headphone can beat the 35-42db isolation so Etyomtic in-ears http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/mc5.html They also have head sets that would work if you only wanted to use these some times with the MD, and the rest of the time with a phone for music and phone conversations.. Also a lot cooler in the heat of summer

You know, you might be right. I've talked to a couple of people who have the Black Widow Headphones who say they sound and work great, but they didn't notice much or any difference in the reduction of the outside noisy over the Killer B's or Grey Ghost. The search continues.

I picked up a set of headphones at a music supply shop , they are dead quiet and comfy to wear ,cord lenth is more than enough . I use an inline vol controll and they were just over $20

Can't do big $ So it's a cheap fix

do the ones from the music shop have a coiled cord. if they don't it doesn't take too many swings for the cord to be all twisted up and too short for good use. thanks
