Believe It Or Not

For the most part the number ranges are the same for Nickels and War Nickels

Meaning that if I get a 12-12, 12-14, 13-12, 13-14,12-15, etc, I dig hoping for a nickel and even possibly for Gold

What I sometimes get is a Pull Tab and other such stuff

However, when I dig these number combinations, I have gotten War Nickels, Buffalo Nickels and one Liberty Nickel

Good Luck and HH

I think it is different for the part of the country your in.

ty all, out of ground the ones I have from the past were xx-31/32. I am still hoping i can find one this season

Yep ... about the same numbers as others posted above - seems like the Silver War Nickels I've found came in the on the same or a few numbers higher than standard Nickels.

This was a great question as I too have never found one myself. Way to go G4E for the awesome haul of war nickles.

Thank you beyonder for post,

Moose

I just found one a 1943...it rang in at a bouncy 11-13 to 14-14 at about 7" .
