Well I've been looking at the the safari and the se pro that's on the kellyco site, I've been leaning toward the se pro, so should I get the se pro and why should I buy it.

I've never used a Safari but have had my Se Pro for about two years now. Great detector. I do know that the Explorer gives you alot more target information. I love my Se and have made some great finds, some in the hole with iron. The places I hunt are mostly farm fields where old farms once stood. Lots of iron and other trash. The Explorer is right at home in that enviroment. Check out my videos, surfman1968. Andy Sabisch's book is a must have if you get the Explorer. The holiday package Minelab has right now is pretty awesome as well.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=guu0z1rBlyY&feature=plcp

Thank you surfman, i will probably get the se pro. What was the web site that you used to get the gps locations for old home sites.

It's called Historic Aerials .com. The site seems to be down right now. It doesn't go back that far in every state. Here in Delaware it goes back to 1937.The topo goes back to 1901. Use the options on the top of the screen to find the option for cordinates and drag it to the spot you want. Then input them into your handheld unit. Real easy, good luck, Joe.

Thank you joe, one more thing which site do you think i should buy the se pro from, the two sites ive been looking at are kellyco and bigboyshobbies.

We all probably all have our favorite sponsors who we like to deal with (I know I do)...but as per forum policy...and as moderator...I must move all posts mentioning "this is my favorite dealer"..." I got a great deal from this dealer"...etc...to the feedback forum.

Sorry for coming accross as a "killjoy" here...but I just wanted to let you know.

Here is a list of current forum sponsors...so please research them...call them...discuss your thoughts and needs with them...etc.
