I need help on makeing decision

I'm haveing trouble deciding on which detector to get.The F75 or the F70.I'm going to tell you a little about my self first so you have a better idea about my sitiuation.I'm 6'7"inches tall so my detectors lower shaft has to
be longer.Right noe all i'm interested in hunting is coins and jewlery in parks and when I go to visit my relitives.I would like to have a detector that I could get use to and that is not difficult to run or figure out but also
will go deep and find the good stuff,I have a DFX that I always wanted and I have a Coinstrike that I like and I also have a XT-70.You see I have alot of different detectors.I had read on the forum that bill ladd had said
and it has stuck with me ever since he said pick a detector manufacture and stick with that detector and get use to the tones that unit makes and that's why I would like to know from you guys who detect alot would
you get the F70 and F75 or just the F75 or just the F70 and which one is more stable and easier to use please help..Thank You.

Its not a good comparison. The F-70 is produced as a mid priced detector and to compete with other
detectors in that price range; it was never meant to compete with the F-75.
The F-75 has so many more features there is no comparison. The manual ground balance and the Stat mode
just to name two. Although the F-75 is programmable with more features, it almost as easy as setting up
an analog detector with knobs. And we never know when a new chip may come out to maybe add even more.

The F75 is a great machine, but it is the top of the line and has a lot of features that you would probably never use so why pay extra for features you dont need. And because is it has fewer features it will be easier to learn and use. The F70 is geared toward coin hunting and it would seem to fit your style better and cost a bit less. Time will tell if it has the depth of the F75, but I have already heard one person tell me he thinks its actually deeper than the F75.

Depth is irrelevant because of soil conditions and where your at in the country. also how the user has it setup. The features of the 75 go beyond the circuitry. If you have the 75 you don't need the 70. I have used both and there the same as far as setup gos. You may use one mode more than the others but its nice to know its there. Coin hunting in trashy parks? Have a look at my posts.

I did some side-by-side comparisons on coins in both my test garden and in the wild. In my local dirt, the F70 paired with the 11" DD from the F75 was indeed deeper. I couldn't believe it! I would have never expected this from a detector that was less expensive than the F75. In my opinion, this just goes to show you how Fisher doesn't always do things the "traditional" way... puttin' the heat in a less expensive machine! What do you gain by using the F75 then? Tons of extra features and modes (greater flexibility). However, I sincerely believe the F70 is going to be a old, deep coin hunters dream...especially when you borrow the big DD from your F75! As always, this is in MY soil, so user mileage may vary!
