Hey all the scoop i have now just don't cut it , aluminum to small only 5 inches wide and 38 inches tall , seeing this years beach season has been cranking with people on the ocean beaches and the bay and sound beaches i really need something easier to dig that wet sand and shallow waters with my chest mounted GT now iam retired i have plenty of time to hunt up to the end of Nov. , i looked at a few good ones 6 high 12 long 8 wide 52 inch wood handle iam 6'-5" tall , one is made here USA and the other is Russia both pretty close in price and build about 190.00 total for everything , is there any better deals ? . the one i use will dig targets but it just a pain in the %$* to small , any good suggestion ? Thanks much Jim P.S. most of the sand here is pure white and goes deep not much junk either .

You might want to also ask in the beach forum, or search in there for "best scoop" ALL WORDS ANY DATE. Also try "best sandscoop", or maybe "sandscoop recommendations" and see what you can come up with. I bet that topic has been coverered in that forum a hundred times.

Take a look at Chucks new scoop hes testing. His new 720 looks promissing to me. I believe its 7" X 11", SS, 20 degree handle..... just a good looking design. He took what appears to be several designs we all liked into one.
