i need a backup machine

ok i have the 3030 and wanted to add a backup machine that the wife can use if she wants instead of the go find 20 that i got for free


looking at a minelab 705 or should i buy a deus xp used 5 mths for 800 .. the dues does not come with the wireless headset

for me multi purpose I would go the 705 with a aftermarket coil , no offence minelab but your coils stink on the 705

lots of iron go the Deus, not so much go the 705 with a NEL coil or look on ebay get a MarsMD coil.

Get her the Deus! Look around though as you can find complete set ups for under a $1000.00
Be Patient and you will find one. At least she can compete with you if she has the Deus. That other
Minelab 705 won't come near the performance you'll get from the Deus as it's just an awesome machine
that works WELL!!! I saw this the 1rst time I ever used the Deus. It's a machine I finally feel totally comfortable
with.You won't be sorry about buying a Deus!!! You'll probably put that CTX 3030 away for awhile if you get the
chance to Swing a Deus...

I'd stay away from the Xterras. I'd recommend a Teknetics G2+. Its light weight wieght, the target id is great and it isn't complicated to use. There are a lot of coils available for it, and it will keep up with the 3030 in finds. She'll love it. Spend some time matching headphones/earbuds or whatever she likes to use and she'll give you lots of hugs and kisses..
