I am thinking bout trying to get another one. But in order to do it my wife says I have to get rid of my Eurotek Pro now I'm debating. I love the Eurotek Pro in thick iron but miss the mystery of not knowing what you find before you dig it out with the Bandido II Umax . Well I guess time will tell for me. Anyone else in my boat on missing a machine they wish they still had?

AHHH, yes!!!! Seller's remorse, I know it well!!!! Symptoms are: can't sleep at night, dreaming of swinging the Bandito2!!!!!!!! hearing that sweet sound of SILVER & GOLD!!!! Thinking of devious ways to fool you know who!!! Make sure to check, if your nose is getting longer!!!!! A dead giveaway!!! Just buy the machine & tell her you found it lying beside the road!!!! That's what I told to all 3 of my X's!!!! Works like charm!!! BTW, do you have any life insurance??? Just a thought......... good luck. Keep us informed.

Yes the X thing scares me!! LOL She knows me like a book and if a new machine mysterously shows up it won't get past her. I've already tried that before and it didn't work. I guess I will have to walk the straight and narrow and get it while getting rid of one of my other machines.

That when the best finds are found. I love getting a good audio signal and digging to see what it is. A lot of times on these digital readout detectors you get a ID number saying its a pull tab and you'll talk yourself out of digging it even though it could be nice gold wedding band. The mystery of not knowing and digging is part of the fun.:)

If I'm feeling it and not too sore, I want to dig all the good audio signals, because I know sooner or later I'm going to pop something out of the ground that super nice.

Heck I can't afford a girlfriend along with a wife along with detectors!! :lmfao: yes Tabman you hit the nail on the head with your comment I do find myself talking myself out digging targets all the time!

Well I just sold my Bandido ll umax, I hope I don't have this sellers remorse down the road like you describe. The good thing all of my other machines do not have a display to talk me out of anything either so I should be good.

Yep I had the Bandido umax and loved it until I bought the Eldorado umax and loved it even more. Two great machines!!!!

I went from a explorer2 to a Bandido 2U because 1) it was too heavy. 2) I spent too much time reading the screen.

I took my Bandido II

Your killing me Tabman ! Did you find any thing good?

Tabman,
I thought you sold that Bandido ll umax because of too high a tone on your ears, this is why I just sold mine and to fund my Silver Umax. I never had one before and I'm hoping the tone is a lower pitch than the B2U.

I did sell it. I got to missing having one so much that I bought another one.

It's still a little too high pitched for my ears, but with the headphones turned way down it ain't so bad.:)

I found some clad and a few nickels. A bunch of pull tabs. If there had been a gold ring where I swung my coil, I'd found it.:detecting:

I'm getting where I can tell most of the time by the tone if it's a coin or a pull tab. Problem is, I'm having a hard time trying figure out if it's a pull tab or gold ring.

Is there any other Tesoro machines out there that's similar to the Bandido II Umax cause finding one of these is no easy feat. I read up on the Outlaw but don't like the thoughts of the finicky retune/pinpoint button. I wonder if Tesoro would replace the button with a toggle switch?

I must be hard of hearing cuz the bandidos tone doesn't bother me any...
Must be because I use to crank rock on my stereo headphones when I was a young punk..

The outlaw has a toggle switch and a push button. Both do the same thing.
