i went out to the beach yesterday found a few led sinkers then hit a solid 31 on my fisher id edge it is about 5 feet long the tide was coming in so just did not have the time to get it out i was talking today to a well know treasure hunter he said may be a cannon or something from a ship wreck wish me luck i will go out tommorow and see if i can dig it up there alot of rocks in this area Jeff

glad to have ya here and let us know what that 5 foot item turns out to be.

In England once I found an object that was a long bullet shaped item and it has wings on either side of it. Because of the size (about 12 feet) I called Explosive Ordinance Disposal thinking maybe this is a German V2 rocket from WW II (it was on an Air Force Base). EOD came figured it was there all this time and it hadn't exploded so they weren't going to dig it up.

I sometimes wonder what could happen if a big digger one day has to dig up a waer line or is putting in a basement and hits that object.

Let's us know what ya find....curious minds want to know

i just got back i just cant get it out i will have to wait tell spring it over 6 feet long very hard digging all big rocks i will post when i go again thanks for rooting for me Jeff
