I MADE A HUGE CHANGE

Well,,,I have now really gone and done it...After detecting for around three years i made a huge change in detectors and im going too need help..i went from a lol coinmaster pro too a v3i with all the coils and lower rods ....i have ran the V a couple of times .... any advice ???
i do love the hunt.

welcome to the v-club, one thing to check right away is to make sure the vco is turned on in the pin pointing settings, all new v-3i's come from the factory with this turned off, this helps to pin point better, and practice practice practice LOL good luck with your new v3i.

Good point Sarge, one exception is the Hi-Pro program which is set up almost perfect for all kinds of hunting IMHO. It might be a little too advanced for some though.

Both coils are very good, one for hunting in trash and one for coverage in less trash. My main coil is the 10X12 SEF.

I bought the V3I last may and theres no turing back for me the Genie is out of the bottle!!

Make sure you get the 6x10 coil for it its the one to use in all parks and trashy areas and it really works well !!
