Hang in there Junky, I've had a skipping heartbeat since I was in my 20's, I'm now 65, it'll be ok....It had me worried for a while but now it doesn't bother me....Good luck. HH

I've also had "skipping" palpitations for many years and three episodes of A-fib.No definitive cause, but I'm starting to think that dehydration plays a role in increasing the frequency of mine.Just one of the possibilities to monitor. Not a funny feeling when your heart starts "fluttering".Wish you the best.

Good to see your well Ron:thumbup:

And try and cut the caffeine will help alot..I cut Pepsi's, My heart irregularities have disappeared.

Stay hydrated..... dehydration is one of the fastest ways to get the heart doing funny things. I ran marathons for years in the army and mine would skip with a lot of training miles. My sister-in-law didnt know she had a heart issue until recently she got the flu and dehydrated. Her heart went out of sight took them a couple of weeks to get it undercontrol. Good luck Ron with you health issue and your detecting.

Dew

I've had that too. They say it's actually and extra beat. It can be caused by a magnesium deficiency. Drugs like Prilosec and Nexium can cause low blood levels of magnesium. Try taking a suppliment. That's what I do and it works for me.
