After the bummer morning I went to the same school I found the locket. I checked out a different area and after a while I got this very, very, faint high tone. I could just barely hear it! Decided to dig it up and after finding the target I made a mental note of how deep the Lesche was in the hole. About 5 feet from it another faint sound!! Also decided to dig it up. Unbelievable how deep they were. Here is the measurement of the Lesche: And my two finds a silver ring and a wheatie

So I ended up getting another used one that's coming next week. Been hunting the beach with mine. Will post a pic of the 1723 British 1/2 penny I found when I get back from vacation. I need a new camera with a macro lens !

I fashioned a straight rod set up with the 6a mounted under the cuff, and with the 10.5 inch coil, I can swing that baby all day long.

Still say it's one of the best all around detectors EVER.

Circa-1993, user friendly built like a tank, water resistant, loves iron, easily masked but as deep or deeper coil for coil as any new unit on the market today...
