I love Fall hunting!! Some of my better finds.

Went to quit a few newer places this year and some I have detected before. A few of my nice finds since mid Oct and this past week. Found what I believe is a very worn 177? King George Half Cent. Was able to make out the III and part of the head on coin. Surprise coin was the 3 cent nickel. Really dark coin but still very readable. The best find was the 1853 Seated Half Dime. What a nice coin. It looks like whomever dropped it got it out of a fresh roll from the mint that day. Its like brand new! Probably the best shape coin I have ever found! I have been using the 705 with the 3kHz 9inch cc coil mostly since beginning of November. Stock coil used in Oct(good Indian head finder!). Also, found an 1859 Indian Head penny(in olive oil right now). The penny was on the thick side like the Flying Eagle cents. I figure they must have used up the blanks from the eagle cents?? Anyone have a comment on that? Also a nice merc and a seated 1853 dime( love finding pre civil war coins). I'm having a blast this fall. Lots of quality hours hunting. Even if I don't find something every time it go out, its just nice to relax doing what makes me happy! Life is short! Enjoy it!!!! Great Hobby!! Happy Hunting all! Emmett

Beautiful coins Emmett. I've only found one Nickel 3 cent piece, and no half dimes. That 1853 is extremely nice.

Good hunting...

Outstanding finds Emmett! Those are beauties!

Nice finds! You have a couple of my bucket list coins.

Nice coins. That Indian is what a lot of people call a fatty Indian. I just sold one a few months ago.

Thanks all for your nice comments! My bucket list is a Capped Bust Quarter and a Seated Quarter. On a mission, till the snow falls, here in Massachusetts! Happy Hunting all. Emmett

You sure cleaned up half of my bucket list with those, congrats.I have never found a seated, although I hunt older places.
