try and do as others on here have said to do if you had any problems with your MXT or test a coil out. OK here goes, first of all to express my thoughts and feelings about this MXT forum. IMHO, it's the VERY BEST. I've been on here for around 2 years and when I've had a problem I could read from the back posts on up to date and somewhere along the line I'd sure find the answer. Well a couple of weeks ago I bought a new MXT from KellyCo detectors in Orlando, FL. The first one I got didn't work well at all so they sent me a new one. I got it, took it out and for a few days and it worked fine. Well the first of this week it got erratic and I was getting multiple numbers on the VDI and couoldn't tell at times which was which. And (I believe in the last day or 2) I read that someone had written and told how to reset your machine. I did so. Turned it on and while on I removed the batt. pack left it off for 15 sec. turned the machine off and replaced the battery and IT WORKS.
So to whomever put that on here I want to thank you personally. Now both my MXT's work perfectly. I tried the 5.3 coil out and in 15 minutes I had found .42cents.
A quarter,dime, nickle and 2 pennies over a place I had gone over 2 or 3 times. (a lot of trash). So if someone on here says try it YOU'LL LIKE IT. a great big thanks

Hi BJ, no not in Orlando, but about 65 mi. south of there. I get on the turnpike (FL)) to I-4 and in 1- 1/2 hrs I'm at KellyCo. It's on the No. side of Orlando.
The ride's not too bad either. But I'm on the no. side of the big lake. (Okeechobee). I've lived here off and on since 1938. Born and raised in Plant City, FL.(used to be the winter strawberry capital.) I did live in TX, on the OK line between Paris and Hugo for a few years. Went to college in Paris. I really have been asked if I learned any French, LOL.
