I know test gardens don't mean much out in the field but...WOW!

For the first 15 years I hunted with Whites detectors...then went to Fisher CZ'z (I still use the cz70pro.....then to minelab explorers..and now use the SE as my main detector.
I recently bought a nice XL pro from Duggr and it came with the 9.5 coil and also the killer 5.3 bullseye coil.
This XL PRO is one HOT...and I mean HOT machine! I have used it only in my test garden which consists of ONLY four coins...and have seen all I need to see! I have a penny at 4" and at 6". I also have a silver dime at 6" and another deepie silver dime at 8" which I use to test my SE settings and coils on to judge what kind of depth I'm getting.
I did not expect this but with the 9.5 coil on...the XL pro hits EVERY coin in my garden! Whats more impressive is the fact that it tries it's best to nail the 8" dime with the little 5.3 coil on! It sounds off about 50% of the sweeps over the 8" dime with that coil on. With both coils the meter pegs all the way to the right over that 8" dime but I think thats because there's a piece of crap right near the buried dime. It just gives a nice signal but the meter doesn't ID right on and pegs far right and locks. My CZ70 also gives an inconsistent signal one way and my SE even gives an iffy target ID one direction over the 8" dime...so there must be some junk right there near the hole..
Needless to say...I have a sunray probe on the way for my xl pro and it is going to be along on EVERY hunt with my SE and my cz70 pro. I can't wait to use it in the field. I can tell it's going to be one hot coin shooter! GLAD to have a Whites back in my arsenal and for coinshooting...the xl pro just may become my main detector.
Thank you Whites.

the SE to swing. After about 3 hours my arm is BEGGING for something lighter! The cz is pretty heavy as well because I have the sunray 12" coil on it. The XL Pro feels like I can swing it for long periods of time....so I can't wait.

Good luck I use my home make swingy thingy..one of my crazy inventions to help speed up recovery times!:detecting:

I give all the credit to those who have been successful with the dfx that I talk to. I actually have pages of notes that I read and reread and try to put their successful lessons in action when I hunt.

you can bet the ranch that whitey NEVER wanted to let this one go!..laws change!..people'e tastes change!..the market is constantly
revolving, and lastly,we are in the "so-called"..digital arena now,and this apparently is where the industry is going!..cheaper to build,
higher profit margins!..etc...etc....i know i'll NEVER get rid of mine
the combination of the 5.3 and the pro's exceptionally accurate ANALOG
meter, has combined to make one of the best "coin sniffers" of all time!
