to buy a Minelab detector which model would be your choice of buying.
Those who have Minelabs know them better so picking their brains. Like I say I could be dreaming but one never knows. With winter here I want something to dream about :)

You certainly don't need $2000 to get one. You can get a new Explorer for about $1000. I honestly believe it is the best machine on the market. And you can get into one for about $500. You can get a used XS, or spend a little more for a used EX II. And the SE is the latest model. But the other two will do what the SE will! :)

:minelab::detecting:well if you want a well rounded detector, that will do everything and not to expensive here are two:whites-mxt and minelab x-terra-70,i have have the terra-70 and its outstanding.but you can sure spend more depending on what you like.the aussies say the best for gold is the 2200 by minelab, but if you want an experts opinion thats had them all,you need to send "digger" a post on the terras minelab forum.
