I just ordered a V3i

I traded a @&^%% and a ^%&^#@ on a new V3i.I will have only Whites detectors in my stable now.Whites treated me way beyond fair on a DFX I sent in for repairs.I've been reading the V3i manual and watching the videos on Youtube.I didn't order the wireless headphones.I really like the tone/sound quality of my Grey Ghosts and KillerB headphones.Spring can't get here soon enough.Bill

You spent 5 months with the other detector and was not impressed? The mxt pro looks like a good one but it is not a v3i..... I found something good today.

Not having the WHP won't make the V3i any less a detector. I like my WHP, but we all have different hearing. I like my Rat Phones sound a tad better ( more bass) but my hearing isn't normal, too many loud noises. Still I'm not losing any signals with the WHP.

I still have the MXT PRO and the DFX.I traded a detector from Australia and one from Texas.I really like the MXT PRO.I'm keeping both as back ups.I just want to learn the V3i.

I am still learning mine and it has been almost a year now... But the finds have been getting much better over the months.
