I just ordered a new 13" Ultimate Detech coil for my SE

Got a good deal from my dealer and just now ordered the Detech 13" Ultimate coil.
It will be interesting to see if my finds increase.

I am running the U13 these days. Still getting used to it, but so far, it feels great except in ground with stubble. Seperation, to me, is equal or better than the Pro coil. The depth gain is marginal but the tone on deeper stuff beats out the Pro. One thing...the U13 reaches out a wide pattern at sens set at 25. It grabs an adjacent can object close to a foot away to the side.

Great coverage for the seperation it gives.

That might be a problem with detecting in a trashy area?

Yes. I usually go to the 8x6 SEF in trash unless it is only moderate. The U13 likely works lots better in auto sense in trash. I always run manual unless I'm getting swamped with nulls. I always run hot, 24 at a minimum. I've not learned what sens the U13 equates to compared to the Pro Coil. I run 24 on both.
