Well today was payday for the new night job, and guess what... No pay for me!!! I paid all of my bills with my with the day job pay, and I was gonna fill up my gas tank and was gonna have a BBQ with some of this pay. I'm still going to a metal detecting hunt and BBQ, but I'm not gonna bring anything (I was going to co-host it though).

I called my regional office, and I have just keep getting a answering machine all day. Prolly took off for the long weekend.... I should of guessed this would of happened, with the first check and all... But the dumb thing is, they have a voided check of mine for direct deposit purposes. I will get paid sometime during the upcoming week, but thats not the point. I was really counting on this pay for the weekend!!!

Oh well, thats enough crying about it, nothing I can do until Tuesday.:stars:

That sucks. Maybe you will find more than that on your hunt. I hope so. Have a safe and happy memorial day weekend.

Just because the world is so big I dont understand Why they cant be more considerate Of us hardworking honest people who live on the bottom of the totem pole. Well I guess its a proven fact that crap rolls down hill. Dont feel like a loaner. I was told today If I cant work this weekend my services of flooring installation Ive been doing for 17 years would no longer be needed.

Take some advice from someone who was in your shoes a few years back. If your second job is mad money as you have mentioned before, take your first three or four paychecks and stick them in a savings account with an ATM card. Do NOT use this money for anything except emergencies like severe car trouble, emergency travel expenses, bail, payroll forgets to pay you, whatever you call an emergency. It should not be used for going to Wrigley field with the boys etc..... 1000 bucks will still get you out of quite a few jams today. Then start saving for the high end detector you want. This is friendly, free advice, that someone gave me when I was younger and dumber and I have slept a lot better since.
