I just got my X50, but I like it well enough that I ordered the X70...

I will sell one or the other. I'm really hoping I can feel the supposed increased depth the X70 is advertised as having, ahem, "maximized". If I don't get the depth or FEEL I get the depth, out it goes.

I love the X50 as a casual coinshooter now, and the weight is awesome. Having hunted some woods this weekend, I wish I had a lighter machine than my CZ3D, and the X50 would have peen perfect had I felt more confident about it's depth capabilities.

I must say that like others have said, I'm VERY disappointed to have the new X70 come out within weeks after buying the X50. Had I known, I would have waited. Minelab's attitudes and customer care have not been anything close to what I would call first rate, but if they've managed to make a detector that seems like it could be really close to my "perfect" machine I'll take it.

I just sold my Exterra 50 and a NICE modified Sov XS. I KNOW I'm going to love the 70 because I really liked the 50. I feel Minelab has gotten about as close as it can get to what I feel is MY perfect detector. Hope I'm right......HH George Fatizzi
