KellyCo has a real fast delivery service. It was at my PO box Monday and I ordered it Friday morning and UPS Ground Service doesn't deliver on Sat unless you pay extra for it. The funny thing is when I got in my car I getting ready to workout but after that package I am not. Then I saw that it was partially snowing/raining and I am thinking ,"Oh no, I can't get this wet" but then I started laughing this is waterproof, yippeeee.

I know I can not do much but at least I will be able to swing it a little bit just to get a thrill.

Having a heck of a time just getting the box with the brackets into the upper shaft. Bolts should have been longer or the brackets bent more inward to facilitate a shorter bolt & nut setup.

I just want to get out there and swing it. Not expecting to get anything. I think I'll take up on your suggestion

I had PM this to a few people I know but I though all could read what I experienced.

I took the Infinium to a beach that I know of that is trashy so I knew that beforehand. I utilized the reverse disc on all the targets and some I didn't dig and some I did. I have no problems pinpointing as I have a DD on my SE. one target in particular was over 3' and it was still going off with water filling it in but here is where I saw the need for a long handle , small head shovel. Forget beach scoop, SHOVEL is the key with the LS. I just contacted a guy about the one he uses. he is going to show the EXACT one he uses.

I run my SE in all metal mode with Fe tones with full sensitivity so the Infinium to me sounds like a mute so because of the training on the SE and the way I run it actually it is a blessing for me with the Infinium. I say and laugh at the same time because I remember in the instruct video it says "you will hear more sounds than you have ever heard beforehand" heehee. obviously the narrator hasn't run an SE in all metal mode. So I just have to train my ears for the nuances of the pulse system which I have already picked up on.

on the beach which I'll be mostly with the LS hi-low is the way to go for tones as I am mostly looking for gold and jewelery. If the sound is really loud usually it's a big object OR you're right on top of it. soft mellow tone denotes deep object OR very small object under the coil. This intuitively and naturally makes sense to me with my ears.

multiple blips are usually a long object and I have to train my ear for the shape of things. I remembered this from John_edmonton telling me this a ways back. I still have those tidbits saved.

The beaches I have in mind for this are very clean so usually when I dig up something it should be something of worth or it could be junk but I will get it regardless and I have reconciled myself to this system.

I also naturally go slow with the coil as my way with the Se requires you to slow down more than the usual with an SE and all the info flooding my ears.

I bought the coil cover but I didn't realize it covers the WHOLE thing instead of just conforming to the shape of the coil itself. I can see where that is like a cup saying fill me with sand and make me weigh more. Down the road I'll be epoxying this coil and getting rid of the coil cover.I already knew about it being top heavy running it belt-mounted. I could counter-act that with a little weight around the cuff area. Hmm, but if I do that then it will not sit well with my forearm. they should have put a strap there.

Basically this is an easy but deep MD and the only learning curve really to me is the digging which I'll be doing a lot of

This MD reminds of someone who when he speaks you better listen unlike my Explorer which will not shut up and you have to filter with your brain want to listen too. Hmmm, good analogy if I say so myself, which actually I did, heehee
