I just got a used GP3500. I hunt with the E-Trac (Which I LOVE) but I'm looking for the setting on the 3500 to get a good start. I only RELIC hunt in

I have used the Minelab Pulse Induction GP's on Civil War Hunts with great Success myself.
For starters, you need to stick with the Factory Settings and get to learn the sounds.
After putting 100 hours on the machine and learning to tell the difference in sounds, you'll then have a better understanding of what you are doing.
Stick with the DD coil too.

Good Luck, Gerry
