I've dreamed of the goldfields for years now and been reading about it all this time. One detector seemed to come up here and there as 'the one they shouldn't have quit making'. Well because of that, and my weakness for things hard to get, I finally got my hands on a Diablo uMax! This will be the second Tesoro for me. I've been running a lot of other machines for years now and have an AT Pro for 'almost everything'. I do have two more detectors on my 'hit list'-one for salt beaches and another PI detector. Anyway, I can't wait to see what this thing will do! I have a tentative Arizona trip in the works..fingers, toes and eyeballs crossed that it works out!

congrats on the new hard to find diablo,i was wondering at what frequency it ran? thanks

Pyledriver,

Most areas in AZ are claimed................Unless you belong to a club that has claims in the area or you have a claim, you can't hunt them.

Having hunted gold on different club claims up by Rich Hill I can tell you some people with gold fever are totally nuts.

So before you decide to visit do some research on the area you are interested in & join some clubs that have claims in the area. For nubies that is the best option to learn the ropes. ATVs require a HOV stickers & all vehicals using state land permits..............Stay Legal - - Stay Safe.

Thanks for the warning on claims and such-luckily I'm going with somebody who knows the ropes and where to go.. I can't wait!

Good hunting......................HaRM
