I just can't find out what this pressed copper thing is...

It's very soft and it looks like a handbag buckle or something like that. The design has 2 fish facing each other. On the back, I can see 2 big letters "SS" from a larger word, and not Nazi.
 
Looks like the mustache from the Pringles Can man.
 
French military items from hundreds of years are marked with the flaming piss pot or bomb. Research french militeria.
