Now the fun begins Mud, you got yourself a very good detector

Looking forward to your posts.

H H and Good Luck.

I'm betting you'll like it, did you get the small DD with it? A great coil for that machine, love mine!

You're gonna love it. Hunt previously hunted sites and it may just surprise you with what you missed in the past :)

Thanks guys, Hey Sailor, I didn't get the little coil, but I did get the submersible phones. I plan on being neck deep in Lake Mich for the next few months.
Hows about some fresh water setting suggestions? I like to hear a little iron, I really dont want to miss any small gold rings hiding in the foil..
Our beaches are swept so clean, its hard to find a bobby pin or bottle cap...

I have seen your posts on multiple forums. You are a very complimentary type of person no matter where you post. I hope the AT Pro serves you well and becomes one of your favorites....if you have any questions, you know what to do.

Just started using the submersible phones. Very different sounds then my Rattlers! I put some neoprene inserts in to keep what's left of my hearing. If you need some, I've got quite a bit. The sound isn't bad just different and I'm relearning it a bit.

In the drink around here there's a lot of rusty iron flakes so I run iron disc in Pro Zero at 37 and leave everything else in. Iron Audio stays off until I hit a possible target that might be iffy then I turn it on for a check. The Pro Audio is going to give you much more info. As usual I dig pull tabs and foil numbers hoping for that gold. Watch out for the scratchy sounding lower numbers. 99

PRO ZERO...the only way to run...wide open hearing everything. My advice is to start off right away with the waterproof headphones. They sound so different then the non-waterproof, best to learn with them from the start if you are going to be getting wet alot.

Congrats on the At Pro. Best of luck.

Right behind u mud.should have mine friday:thumbup:.....hh rick in mi.

And the rest of you post some really great finds, then theres the kudos to Garrett customer service, and then the last straw was when Diggin-it got that platinum last week, well, it was not a hard decision!
