Wanted to try the V3 but really didnt want to have to sell my others detectors to try one. I got one on the classifieds today from Diggin jimmy hoffa for what I thought was a very reasonable price. It does not have the upgrades but i can live without them for now until I learn it better then I will decide on that. I have downloaded the manual and watched the videos from whites on youtube. I will take it to one of my parks that I know has a lot of targets, both clad and the potential for silver to try it out when it gets here. It would be nice if it would rain a little to soften up the ground. I will try to make a video too.

Go slow sometimes more is too much. Use the CJ program and learn first how to GB and then how the filters work and your recovery speed that was the most improtant thing I had to first understand I think you have to GB after most ajustments but for the first few days learn what your swing speed is and then how that works with your ground. I got some flack by using a detector that I use and seeing how cloes I could get to it to the V3i and then programing it to go beyond that trusted machine. It worked and now I have taken the V3i to the next level that I wanted my other dector to work at put could not push it or program it anymore.

Thanks Low-Boy. I am sure it will take some time to learn. Just need some rain now to soften up the ground.....;o)
