I joined the V3 club

Yesterday I joined the V3 club. I am new to detecting and figured the I'd start out with the best. I tried in the back yard today and only dug up trash. I'm going to go somewhere else and see what I can find tomorrow.

Welcome ;-)
Use some TEST targets to get the feel of the V3.

Welcome to the club. Tot lots, (playgrounds) are very good training centers as well as the planted coins in your yard.

Hi Erik, That's wrong.... :nono: :clapping: I know you're just joking around (maybe?) but I do look forward to pitting my V3 against your E-TRAC weekend after next though... Got the pictures of your oil lamp find. Pretty cool.

OLAK, best of luck learning and using the new detector. I agree with the above posters. Plant some targets to get a feel for the unit and what trash and treasure sound and look like on the analyze screen. Welcome to the detecting world. You'll find the answers to most all of your questions right here on findmall!

The avatar is Jackie Gleason as Buford T. Justice from Smokey and the Bandit: the all time funniest movie....
