I hunted where JEB Stewart shelled Carlisle today.

I hunted this spot a year or so ago & found some ringtail sharps. Things didn't work out getting back into it til today. You guys know the song & dance. The owner wasn't home or it's planted or the ground is Frozen or it's too damn hot. Anyway I hunted it today & found some relics. My buddy hunted before also & actually found shell fragments from counter battery fire from the town. I didn't think the union batteries fired back. I will say this it wasn't a camp. There were troops there fighting & didn't loose much. We went up on a little hill where he had found some D & R eagle buttons today. That's where I found the eagle cuff button. Anyway thanks for looking & HH.

Thanks buddy. It's a cuff. My buddy found a D and a R button on the hill this came off of. When I dug it I was really hoping it was one of that kind. I've never found those yet.
