I hr. hunt..first seated

met a hunting buddy at a spot that has been real good to both of us this year. I went over an area that I have hit several times..this time in TTF. didn't take ten minutes to get a strange reading bouncing from low tone back to high and it hit 12-44 and 12-46 a few times in between the iron numbers...so I dug and after three rusty nails I found my first seated quarter at 4" - 5".

awesome find...can't wait for my first seated quarter! TTF is helpful in those iron spots, for sure.

Cool seated

so far this spot has givin me 3 mercs, 1rosie,1 canadian silver quarter, two sterling rings and the one ounce silver eagle. so I consider this my "honey"hole! and I was told it was hunted out! I know someone else here has also pulled silver!
I was witness to a "V" nickel and two indians also...pulled with an ace250 stock coil.
hope this is the spot that gives me my first barber!

Happy for ya!!! My first one many years ago. Was stoked for a week...minimum. Hope the same for you. It looked almost exactly like yours.

nice quarter! Ive never found a seated quarter....awesome find:beers:

Nice find! I would love to find a seated.

At least I crossed a barber quarter and a buffalo nickel off my list last week. I actually found 3 buffalo nickels in 3 adjoining yards. Still waiting on seated and have only found one indian in almost 6 years of hunting.
