Awesome.
Good news.
:)

I have been called worst, its good to still be able to read about and share ideas about beep and dig.
Good job

There's a chance of other brands with beep and dig, but it's a great forum idea. Sure, not just tesoro but it is the same style of detecting, so it's all good.

Can also cause some of us tesoro fans to consider other beep and dig units... Maybe

That I can talk about my Shadow X5 or I could talk about my 2Golden UMax's or my Sidewinder UMax. Now that is a good Forum Name Beep and Dig. Couldn't be better. Thanks very much Guvner. :clapping: . Excellent, Outstanding. HH Later Jerry aka Tinfoil

I thought all detectors were beep and dig ?? I don't own one that isn't  only way you are going to make it a Tesoro forum is to call it a Tesoro forum.

Now guys we have a place to post away about beep and dig units.. INCLUDING THE TESORO LINE ...

amberjack I'm pretty sure Sir..You can call it a Tesoro in your post... if it's a Tesoro... Be Happy !!

I am happy Elton but I think people still think this is a Tesoro forum and its not so I been posting stuff on other detectors, anyway see what happens hey, but me personally I am glad they are gone they never done me no favours so happy to see them gone. sure they are happy to go from what was said and well good to know they weren't just picking on me its just how they do business sloooooooooowly :buds:

I could tell you some 1st hand stories about how they treat people here but that probably says it all anyway. :throw:

Yes, that sounds good to me as most of the Tesoro's are beep 'n dig machines, except the DeLeon and Cortes I think.

Very well thought.

Regards

I will say again, if you are using a Tesoro in what I think is the most efficient way, it is not a beep and dig machine. You use your ears, brain, and the disc to analyze each signal. If anything, it is way more tedious than say a Fisher F2 that handles some of the signal interpretation for you. But with a Tesoro you will not miss much and you can avoid quite a bit of trash if you put the effort into it. I think it is a bit misleading and not in Tesoros best interest that they got saddled with that "beep and dig" tag. But it does take some skill and practice to operate one correctly, IMO.

Thanks Guvner for the beep & dig section, alot of us old timers would be lost without it.

Please explain "beep and dig" . When my machine beeps, I dig. Duh! I guess it doesn't actually "beep", it has 3 "tones". Low med high. Does that count? Garrett Ace series.

I think it means no screen detectors. but technically I agree all detectors that I know of make a noise and I get the noise maker from the ground.
