A short time back I asked about a rumor about unannounced fixes to the 4.0 update . I asked not because I was having an issue just more curious than anything , well I reloaded the program after I had been obsessing over it . Did it yesterday afternoon, last night I played with it in my yard and I do have what I believe to high emf around my house, while using the m-6 I lost connection with my coil after I turned the pinpointer off, this is the first time I have ever noticed anything like this and the pinpointer wasn't producing sound in the headphones which is why I turned it off, I hope i didn't screw up redownloading the program , not that its that big of a deal I just reload it but does this sound familiar to anyone or anyone think it just an anomaly because of the emf, I'm going mess around with it again in a while to see if can get it to do it again, stuck at home anyway I'm on call ! Thanks

Boomer,
I've heard about the dropouts and most were fixed with a re-load.
Don't know what causes it to happen, but hope XP will put in a fix.
This is one of the reasons I haven't loaded V4 or purchased the MI-6.
Waiting for the bugs to be fixed.
Maybe they won't and I'll be hunting with V3, but that's ok too I like it fine.
Good luck on you fix...

I had no sound once while turning the MI-6 on, turning the remote and headphones off fixed the issue and hasn't happened since. I feel the dues is just like any other electronic device, sometimes the software gets buggered and needs a reboot.

I have just recently got out and put the machine through its paces, not one issue with the MD but the pinpointerlost communication after the first time I turned it on . I just unloaded it and reloaded it and never had an issue after that . Going out in a little bit hopefully with no issues . I didn't find anything but some clad which told me all was good , so I'll report back soon on what happened this afternoon .

So how did it go & how was the performance in the afternoon?

It went well didn't have any issue with with the machine but the pinpointer will loose communication with the MD but it seems to happen only once each time I go out but that could be something I'm doing , I did post a pic in my last post , at the end of it got some info on posting pics.
