i got out to a beach today for 2 hours only found $3.40 but i did dig a lot of real deep pull tabs & bottle tops  found a nice big hole where i got most of the coins.
i"ll have to try a few more local beaches to see if i can round up some gold.

I have used three detectors at the beach and bottle tops drive me crazy with all three. My Excal 2 is probably best at seperating them, but I usually dig those signals anyway. Just picked up a ring the other day and it didn't sound all that different to a bottle top, that was with my Infinium, as I preffer to use my Infinium I will dig all signals like that!

With more practice though, you might be able to discern those bottle top signals,
good luck with your Excal!
