I heard that they make GREAT detectors and that they have the best warranty in the business... that they will even warranty used detectors... lifetime warranty! I heard that they are lightweight, deep, and reliable.

Is this true??

:tesoro:

PS... Have a laugh... :cheekkiss: Merry Christmas !!!!

and they aren't green or yellow !

i just don't know...i swore when i got my vaquero that i would use it to death and make tesoro demonstrate the value of their lifetime warranty again and again but...can't seem to wear it out! the only thing i've done other than the regular cleaning of it after i use it is to change the batteries and even they seem to last.

I am suprised with over three thousand posts here and being the owner of a Tejon, that you wold need to ask this question.

Yes ... Tesoro is a very well respected name in metal detectors because of their product, reputation, and great customer service.

Yah I keep hearing about this lifetime warranty stuff.... but so far I only know what I read and hear... no break downs for me yet...

Lightweight? No, no, not true. I have to use both arms to swing mine. Those things weigh a ton.

No, don't buy a Tesoro (if you live around me). They're just toys. Get a yellow machine or anything else. You won't find anything with those heavy, unreliable, crappy Tesoros. They'll just break down and no one will fix them for you.

(Good, my sites are safe now!!).

It was a joke... playing off all the "Is Tesoro going out of business"? threads..

At least one Tesoro is manditory for every serious detectorist!! I have three now and used to have another.. more t han any other brand for me!

Any detector but a lab, they aren't worth money just my 2 cents worth LOL
