another one. It's about the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season. Amen!
The True Meaning of Christmas
We see the commercials, the lights, and the trees.
Instilling the minds of our young ones, Oh! Please!
Get off the secular teachings of Christmas,
Let it be known that Jesus is here.
Placing your trust in the fictitious Santa Claus,
Only heightens the belief in him true.
Taking Jesus away from the center of our hearts,
Only makes our inner souls feeling blue.
We create in our minds something to believe in,
Hoping that all is not in vain.
And make it our lot in life,
Only to bring more pain.
Think on that Christmas Day that Jesus was born,
He came into the world to save us all.
Even to those who are battered and torn,
He wants us to heed his beckoning call.
Come one, come all into the everlasting light,
He most assuredly is asking us.
For one day we will be with Him to behold His sight,
He is the true meaning of Christmas.
