I have some vision questions.

HI: All I have some vision questions. I have a DFX and I would like to upgrade to this V3 I need to know some things first. 1) Gold Prospecting in black sand - The DFX is not as aggressive in ground balancing. This is built into the GMT and MXT and is due to the very fast and effective way it balances out the black sand (negative component) of mineralized ground. The Question is will the V3 be like the GMT & MXT or even better in Gold Prospecting in black sand ?

Question 2) How deep will the display signagraph be accurate. I hear 9

1) and 2) I'll let other unbiased people answer. The ground tracking on V is different than on an MXT though.

3) Yes.

ak 1234 ....gonna be tough to find an unbiased opinion here on this forum :| we all spent at least $1500.00 up to $1700.00 for our Vision's .... this buy's a lot of bias

I know what you mean though ak1234 ........;)

Eagle 1 as a past DFX owner and a brand new Vision user (got it yesterday and it's raining today) I'm sorry I can't be much help on your question.

Hi,

As far as gold goes in my opinion the V3 is markedly superior in performance compared to the DFX. As to how it will handle bad ground I will not be able to report until I get out to my mine in June. Our ground is pretty tough on the GMT and MXT. I have reason to think the V3 may actually handle the hot rocks better but we will see. My GMT will easily hit smaller gold than the V3.

Modulation yes. Don't know yet about graph accuracy at depth except to say that like all systems it will degrade with depth.
