I have noticed that F2 + BH 2200......

I've noticed that the Bounty hunter 2200 looks VERY much like the
F2 and F4 configurations. Has anyone used the BH 2200? I believe it is sold
through Radio Shack. Just curious about this machine and how it stands up
against the F2.

RR:shrug:

The housing used for the 2200 (and Titan) are the same as those used by the F2, F4 and it looks like the F5. However, from what I'm told, the circuitry is totally different... and performance is much heftier for both the F2 and F4. I know the upcoming F5 appears to be using the same outside box, but looks like an entirely different critter under the skin... (especially with all those cool knobs!)...

It's kinda like this: Picture a Ford Mustang with a 4 cylinder, 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder option... (as well as all the extras like power windows, seats, etc.) Totally different motors and performance capabilities...

The housing on my F2 is much larger than my 2200, not even close, some features like the tones are quite similar, they use the same coil.

You don't think that first texas uses bounty hunter parts in fishers units do you.I bet they do.

lovepulltabs have you had any luck with the 2200? I bought one foe my nice to use but she can't get the hang of the pinpointing. So I've been trying to decide to sell it or not. I haven't really used for fear I may mis somthing in the field.

so my ? is should i be using it? It is ligjt weight and easy to swing

The 2200 enclosure is totally different... (I don't have a 2200 and for some reason had it in my noggin the case was the same as my F4). One thing for sure, the F4 box is pretty tough! I accidentally dropped it from about 5 feet and it landed on it's side... I just knew I had cracked it, but it was perfectly fine!

Went out yesterday with it, helped my 12 year old son. We found some lincoln cents, some old and new pull tabs, an old screw cap, .22 casings. It ID'd the pennies good and they were maybe 2-3" deep. It pinpoints pretty good using the tried and true X ing method. Just move the coil over the target crossing it in different directions until you think you've found dead center and then dig. This also helps to ID the target as trash or good. I don't think it will detect much past 5" on coins in the dirt, it airtests a little better. It's a good, fun machine to use for the price. Also got a chance to use my new Lesche digger and I've got to tell you that thing is great, like a hot knife thru butter, cuts nice clean plugs, I'll never use another digger again!
