I have no idea wheresville

Who knows where we were other than Oregon, but in 2005 we stumbled across this brokedown palace which had a family cemetery in the immediate vicinity. Neat stuff

Snakes are always a big concern when we're in the desert, but my wife has only come across one once in a cemetery. I've never seen one. Occasionally we'll see them seeking the road after a recent rain, but never just roaming around these types of locations.

and encountered a strange miniature type of rattlesnake. I had found the cemetery and was taking some pictures when I came across that nasty, mean tempered little snake. It was only about 18 inches long, but it was a light patchy brown color and very difficult to see. I threw a rock at it, but missed and that really pizzed it off and you could tell that it was looking for a fight. I took a couple of pictures and left because that snake was not going to leave the area, and appeared to be looking for a fight. I took a picture of it and will post it if I can find it. Kelley (Texas) :)
